Work toward
Rather than fighting against something negative, find a way to work toward something positive. When you fight against, even if you’re victorious you merely break even. True progress is made by creating new things rather than reacting to old problems. And in the creative process you transcend those problems.
Work to frame your challenges and your efforts in a positive light. Make each circumstance an opportunity rather than a struggle. It can be done. It’s primarily a matter of attitude and focus. For each negative circumstance that threatens to engage you in a nasty fight, there’s a way to turn it around into a positive mission. Look with enough diligence and commitment, and you’ll find it.
Put your efforts into building and creating instead of into hostility or conflict. See yourself as working toward, rather than fighting against. Make a positive difference. Choose not to fight. Choose instead to succeed magnificently.
