Your responsibility

Never in the history of the world has there been more opportunity for living abundantly than there is today. And yet much of that opportunity sadly goes unclaimed. It slips away from those who simply wait for things to get better. It evades those who have come to expect that others will solve their problems for them.

Fulfilling your positive possibilities is not easy. It takes effort and continuing commitment. Others can lead the way and offer encouragement, but no one else can do it for you.

The world is full of strategies for success, yet they all spring from, and depend upon, the most basic strategy of taking responsibility for your own life. That means getting past the empty wishes and going beyond blaming others for your circumstances.

You are the person who can make the biggest difference in your life. Your dreams can come true only with your active participation. That’s a serious responsibility and a wonderful opportunity. And it applies to each and every day of your life.

This moment is yours to make great. This day, this month, this life, this world around you is your responsibility. When you fully live that responsibility, you fully live.
