To you or through you?

Will things happen to you today or will things happen through you today? There’s a big difference. Those who see things as happening to them are, by that very perspective, reinforcing the conviction that they have little or no control over their own lives.

By contrast, those who see things as happening through them operate from a far more powerful and effective position. Though it is certainly unfair that you would be expected to assume responsibility for every aspect of your life, it is nonetheless the very best strategy for filling that life with richness and meaning.

Many of the circumstances and events surrounding you are not of your own choosing and in no way did you bring them about. Still, when you’re able to consider those things as happening through you, as being under your own responsibility, then they will work in your favor.

There is a world of abundance surrounding you, if only you will step up and claim it. Make life happen through you rather than letting it happen to you. It will make all the difference in the world.
