A big difference
Leaders are ordinary people who have decided to use a slightly larger fraction of their potential than is normally the case. Every success is just a discrete number of incremental steps away from failure. The difference between grand achievement and mediocrity is one of degrees.
The extra effort you make in the next five minutes could ultimately mean the difference between moving forward and falling back. It could transform what would have been a loss into a profit. It could change what would have been a failure into a success.
Achievements are built. They do not simply appear. As such, each effort is layered on top of the efforts which went before it. And as such, the value of each extra effort is intensely magnified and leveraged.
The extra efforts you make today have the power to significantly change your life, your work, your business, your relationships, your world. Doing a little more does not take a lot out of you, yet it can bring to you so very, very much. When you’ve done what needs to be done, then give it a little extra effort. That little bit will indeed make a big difference.
