Value
Value is critical to long-term, lasting success. When you can consistently provide people with more needed value than you ask for in return, success is yours.
Imagine standing on the street corner and offering to give people $10 bills in return for $5 bills. Would you have any takers? Of course! Before long, the crowd around you would block traffic in all directions.
Does that sound preposterous? Well, successful businesses follow the same strategy. They profitably offer products that are worth more to their customers than the money needed to purchase them. That’s why those customers are willing to part with their money. Successful employees follow the same strategy. They provide their employers with value that is worth more to those employers than the compensation paid.
Empty promises soon disappear. The hottest trends quickly fade. Value endures. Look past the price. Look past the salary. Look past the fads, the styles, the hype, the buzzwords and the schemes. Look for the value. Offer value. Deal in value, and you deal in success.
