Past disappointment
By the time you’ve experienced any particular disappointment, you’re already in the process of moving on beyond it. Certainly it is painful, and in that pain is the positive, powerful urge to move forward. Follow that urge. Make use of the profound desire that arises from disappointment.
You’ve already paid the price. So go ahead and start reaping the rewards. You’ve learned what doesn’t work and why. Use that knowledge to lead you to what does work.
You’ve survived disappointment, and now you’re coming out on the other side. Just think of all the great things you can accomplish with your newfound strength.
No longer do you fear the disappointment, because it has already happened. And guess what? You’re still here. You’re stronger, more experienced, and more courageous. You’re already moving past the disappointment. Keep on pushing steadily forward toward all the great new things which await you.
