The winning side

Even though life is filled with problems, it is still overwhelmingly positive. Though there’s a downside to most things, it is limited, while the upside rarely has such limits.

There is only so far that you can fall, but there is no limit to how high you can soar. There is only so much that you can lose, but there is no limit to what you can achieve. Certainly there are obstacles to any achievement, but those obstacles are finite. And there are countless ways to get beyond them.

Even the discouragements can encourage you. With each setback you can develop more determination to move forward.

In order for something to be wrong, there must exist the very real possibility of it being right. Yet things can be good and right without the necessity of them ever being wrong.

Life is overwhelmingly positive. Though the bad news and the difficulties get our attention, it is precisely because of their rarity that we notice them. Many of the good things we’re so accustomed to that we don’t even notice them unless they’re gone. Ally yourself with the positive things in life, and you’ll always be on the winning side.
