Something better
Consider for a moment all the valuable achievements which have come about because someone wasn’t satisfied with the way things were. Throughout history, great leaps forward have been made by people who were seeking something better.
Time after time, something wasn’t working as well as it could have, there were problems, shortcomings, issues that needed addressing, and someone addressed them. Someone saw what was wrong, envisioned something better, and then made it happen.
What we think of as progress is really a continuing positive response to dissatisfaction and frustration with the way things are. When things are not perfect, there is always a way to make them better.
Any time you experience frustration or dissatisfaction, see it as a clear signal to take a positive step toward something better. Your frustration is telling you there’s a better way, and challenging you to make it real.
Life is filled with frustrations and because of them, it can continue getting better. When you feel strongly that there has to be a better way, there is. And you have the opportunity to find it.
