It will be okay
When someone you trust tells you that everything is going to be okay, it can ease your anxiety and soothe your spirit. Very often, you’ll also find it helpful to say to yourself that everything will be okay.
Reminding yourself that everything is going to be okay does not in any way deny that you’re facing a challenge or a difficult situation. Instead, it can truly be an expression of the confidence and the faith that will carry you through the difficulty.
By reminding yourself that everything is going to be okay, you’re also encouraging yourself to take the steps necessary to make that true. Whatever you sincerely tell yourself, you will find a way to translate into action and reality.
Will everything turn out fine just because you say so? Of course not -- you will need to work your way through whatever challenges you face. Yet doing so while envisioning a positive outcome is certainly a better strategy than being overwhelmed by your worst doubts. You can be realistic and positive at the same time, and you’ll find that to be a powerful, effective combination. Remind yourself that everything is going to be okay, then set out to make it so.
