More to do

If you never seem to get much done, perhaps you need to have even more to do. That may sound strange, but many times it can be true. When there’s not much that must be done, and plenty of time to do it, that encourages you to procrastinate and to waste time. Yet when you have an ambitious agenda, with much to be accomplished, it keeps you in motion.

It also encourages you to prioritize. When there’s a lot to do, you become much more aware of what’s important and what’s not.

Of course there’s more to accomplishment than just being busy. It’s important to put your efforts where they’ll be effective and achieve meaningful results.

It’s just as important to aim high, for the higher you aim the higher you’ll go. The more items you put on your list of things to do, the more you’ll accomplish, even if you don’t get to everything. Give yourself plenty of meaningful, valuable tasks, and you’ll be surprised at how far you can go.
