What works

It seems so obvious yet it is so often ignored. Life is best lived by going with what works.

Rather than dwelling too long on what’s fashionable, on what’s popular, on what others are doing, pay attention to what really works. More often than not, you can draw plenty of examples from your very own experience.

Anyone can make claims and promises. But rather than buying into them, take a realistic look at what works. What gets results, time after time? What consistently creates value, and moves the world ahead?

Often, in order to find what works, you must go through the experience of what doesn’t work. That makes the knowledge of what does work all the more valuable, because you’ve paid dearly for it.

So when you know what works, make use of that value and put it into action. Success is a matter of taking what works, and putting it to work.
