Apply yourself. Get all the education you can, but then, by God, do something. Don't just stand there, make it happen.

Live the abundance

Before you complain too loudly, take stock of all the good things you have. However dark the night may be, the bright sun will be rising at dawn.

Sure, life can often make you weary, discouraged and disappointed. Yet for every discouragement, there are a dozen bright and shining treasures, so many that it’s easy to forget what they are.

All around you are people, things, ideas, values, traditions, experiences that continually lift you up. Take time to value and appreciate them, for what you value and give your attention to, will grow.

Life is a privilege, not a punishment. You’re not a victim, but a real live miracle with the precious gift of life and all the possibilities that it entails.

The more you remember the good things you have, the more valuable they will become. Before you respond, before you speak, before you take action, before you decide, take a moment to be truly thankful.

Then whatever you do next will be vastly more effective. You’ll see more clearly, and live more fully, the abundance that is yours.
