Hunger for meaning

The meaning you know in life is the meaning you give. The fulfillment you truly experience is the fulfillment you create.

No mere object or experience can ever satisfy your hunger for meaning. For it is a hunger not to possess or acquire, but to give, to create, to become.

If life seems empty and disappointing, it is because those things you assume to be important are really not. You think you want them, you think you need them, you think you must have them, but something in you knows better.

Listen to the faint voice that’s urging you to let go of those frivolous needs and wants and shallow desires. Let them go, for they are the source of your every limitation.

Free yourself from the trivial baggage and have the courage to discover who you truly are. Learn to give to life from the genuine heart of your very being.

That is what will at last satisfy your burning hunger for meaning.
