In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing.

Whatever comes

It’s easy to listen to those who agree with you. Yet it can be far more valuable and enlightening to carefully listen to those who disagree. It feels good to receive a compliment or a word of encouragement. Yet it can be just as valuable, or even more so, to receive criticism.

It’s great when you can get the results you desire, with efforts that come easily and naturally. Yet it can be even more valuable when you come up against difficult, complicated challenges, and must work your way through them.

Some days will bring rain and stinging cold wind, others will bring warm, brilliant sunshine. Yet each day has its own unique, positive value.

Whatever comes, there’s something to be gained from it. Whether it is what you wanted and what you planned for, or whether it is not, there’s something you can use.

The comings and goings of life may often seem arbitrary, troublesome and unfair. Yet the value, when you take the time to see it, to live it, just keeps on coming no matter what.
