Decide you will
Decide to live this day with positive purpose, and you’ll figure out how to make it happen. Make a firm commitment to yourself that you’ll make valuable and productive use of your precious time, and you’ll find yourself doing just that.
Decide what you truly intend to achieve. Decide what your priorities will be. You have the wonderful ability to accomplish whatever you set your sights upon. But when you have no firm commitment, that powerful ability is wasted on trivial and meaningless diversions.
Imagine that you have an assistant whom you are paying one hundred dollars an hour. Think of how frustrated you would be if that well-paid assistant never got anything done because you could never decide what he should be doing.
You do in fact have an assistant whose time is far more precious than money. That assistant consists of your own ability to get things done, and that assistant is always anxious for positive direction.
So take a good look, today and every day, at your hopes, your desires, your vision for how life can be, and decide what to do with it all. Truly decide you will, and you will.
