Love the effort

It is difficult to accomplish anything of value with a halfhearted effort. Yet when any effort is undertaken with gratitude and enthusiasm, it will bring rich rewards.

If you’re going to do the work, it’s best to put your heart into it. If you’re going to put forth the effort, you might as well get the very most out of it.

The more you love the effort, the more value it will create. The more genuine enthusiasm you put into it, the more real fulfillment you’ll get out of it.

But how can you maintain enthusiasm for doing something you detest? The problem is, you really can’t.

You can either find a positive and meaningful reason for what you’re doing, or you can move on to something else. Any other approach will likely lead to disappointment or worse.

Put the best of yourself into the things that you do. It will bring to life a richness that has no equal.
