Winners make it happen
Do you know anyone who always complains that they have to to things? “I have to go to work today. I have to finish that report. I have to pay the bills. I have to take my family to the park."
The winners in life realize that no one has to do anything. Everything you do, you do by choice. When you blame other people and situations for your troubles, you are giving them complete control over your life. Looking for someone to blame is the easiest way of avoiding responsibility. And if you continually avoid responsibility you’ll succeed in completely losing control over your own life. If you feel you have to do a lot of things that you don’t want to do, realize that you made the choices that put you in that position.
The good news is that you can also make the choices which will get you out of that position. It all starts with taking responsibility for your own life.
Instead of complaining that you have to do things, decide to do things. Set a direction for your life, and decide to do the things that will get you where you want to go. You can have control over your own life, if only you’ll step up and take charge of it. Quit blaming and start acting responsible for your own fate.
