Frustration

Do you ever have one of those days when nothing seems to go right? Disappointment piles on top of frustration. One little thing goes wrong, and you mentally start to fight it. Once you’ve got that attitude, frustration keeps cropping up everywhere.

Your frustration is not the result of external events. It is your feelings about those events, that cause you to be frustrated. Because you are the source of your own frustration and anxiety, you can make it vanish, too.

The key is acceptance. It breaks the downward spiral of frustration. Accept the moment for what it is. No person or thing is attempting to frustrate you -- that’s just the reaction you’re having. Accept what is, without a fight, and you’ll have the energy to make a positive change in the situation.
