What do you expect?
Expectations alone are not enough to bring accomplishment, yet your expectations do play a key role in your reality. You rarely get more than you expect from yourself, from others, from life itself.
Whatever you expect to get, you will plan for, commit to, and work for. It’s difficult to make any kind of commitment, when you don’t expect to benefit. Expect to succeed, and you will be more likely to do the work and preparation necessary for success.
When you expect to be rewarded for your efforts, then the work won’t seem so overwhelming. When you expect to triumph, the obstacles are not nearly so difficult to overcome.
Expect the best, and you will be drawn toward it. Your expectations won’t carry you there, but they will light the way.
