Where you’re going

Where you are right now is not nearly as important as where you’re headed. You can’t do anything about where you are right now because, after all, you’re already there. Yet you have complete control over which direction to travel from this point on.

Imagine yourself standing on a road. At one end of the road are all the good things that you want for your life. At the other end, are despair and regret. You are somewhere in between the two places. Now, ask yourself -- which way are you headed? And is it where you want to go? If so, then keep on going. If not, turn around.

It doesn’t matter how far you’ve traveled in either direction. It doesn’t really matter where you are. What matters is which way you’re going right now. It’s always up to you.
