Remote control

What if there was someone, sincerely acting in your best interest, who had a remote control device that guided all your actions? Similar to the remote control for a television or VCR, the device could switch between different “channels” of activity, and increase or decrease the “volume” of energy which you put forth.

Just imagine how effective you could be if, at just the right time, the button was pushed for “focused, disciplined work” or “creative problem solving” or “aerobic exercise” or “compassion” or “gratitude.” If someone who really knew what they were doing could control your actions, there would be no limit to what you could achieve.

In fact, there is someone who can do that. That someone is you. And the guidance you give to every single one of your thoughts and your actions, is much more powerful and compelling than any “remote control” could ever be. Your control over your own life is so much a part of you that you probably don’t even think about it. Yet it is there. You are under your complete control, and with that you can do countless great things.
