What are you so afraid of?
The next time you feel anxiety, frustration, anger or despair, ask yourself -- what are you so afraid of? Negative reactions are almost always based on fear.
Many fears are useful and even essential. Other fears are not. Yet no matter how realistic or unrealistic a fear may be, it is always helpful to know what that fear is.
Why waste effort avoiding your fears, when you can use that energy to confront them? Look directly at your fears, and you’ve taken the first step toward getting past them.
Seek to cure the problem rather than just the symptom. Avoid hiding behind your negative reactions. Save yourself a lot of anguish. If there’s something that causes you fear, do something about it.
