Uncertainty

Something unexpected will happen today. No matter how thoroughly you have planned each moment, something you did not plan for will come along.

You can choose to let it annoy you and disrupt you. You can worry and fret about things not going the way you planned. Or, you can accept that every day will have some uncertainly, and then adapt to whatever comes along.

Though uncertainty can be annoying or even frightening, just think of all the good things it has brought you -- that valuable new idea that came to you out of the blue, or that great new friend you didn’t expect to meet.

The future is uncertain. Sure, we need to plan in detail and then follow our plans. Yet we must also realize and accept that few things will turn out exactly the way we had in mind.

If you curse and fight uncertainty, it will ruin your plans. Instead, learn to accept and adapt to changing conditions, and you’ll find that things begin to turn out even better than you had planned.
